Richard was born in Hessle, and educated at Beverley Grammar School. He became a Headteacher and was seconded to the Regional Headship Unit. Richard lectured at the School of Education at the University of Hull before giving up his professional career to become a full time professional magician in 1998.
Although preferring to be known as a magical entertainer Richard has been lucky enough to work as Magical Director in Theatres, Films and TV and in a short period of time has worked for a broad range of clients in both the UK and Abroad.
